The Role:

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee and optimise the day-to-day operations of disability services, ensuring high-quality care and efficient service delivery. You will manage a team, including a Team Lead and 18 support workers, across supported independent living and community access programs. Your responsibilities include rostering, staff training, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with the leadership team to refine recruitment processes, expand services, and ensure smooth operations. The role involves both strategic planning and hands-on management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining service standards and fostering a positive workplace culture. Overseeing staff schedules and maintaining adequate workforce levels will be crucial to this role. Additionally, you will handle key office-based responsibilities such as reporting, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring efficient rostering.

Essential Criteria:

Certificate III in a relevant field

5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the disability sector

Strong administrative background with the ability to work autonomously

Proven leadership experience, managing teams and overseeing service delivery

Experience in rostering, staff training, and compliance

Ability to cover shifts and provide hands-on support when required

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and refine recruitment processes

Understanding of NDIS and SIL frameworks is highly desirable

Strong customer service skills
