About You

Reporting to the CEO, the core duties as an accountant include performing a range of functions across the finance section. You will need to demonstrate experience across all of the following to be considered for this role:

Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Assisting with Invoicing from time to time
• Assisting with payroll activities from time to time
• Collating data electronically from various sources to compile invoices whilst ensuring their accuracy
• Various reporting requirements to Government authorities such as ATO
• End of month processing and tax related reporting for Ariston such as preparing income statement
• Preparing BAS statements for Ariston
• Monitoring accounting software
• Ensure record keeping requirements are being followed as required by law
• Ad-Hoc duties as required within the Finance Team or by Management

Required skills:

To be successful in this role you will need:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience
• Demonstrated Advanced Excel skills
• To be comfortable in a fast-paced, high transactional environment
• Experience in dealing with people across various business levels
• Ability to work to strict deadlines a must
• A strong work ethic, accuracy, and speed
• The ability to recognize improvements and the initiative to recommend and implement them

Formal qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelors and or a Masters in Finance / Commerce /MBA/ CA
