Diploma Educator - Newport Gardens Early Years Centre

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Educator to join our team at Newport Gardens Early Years Centre.

Newport Gardens Early Years Centre is an architecturally designed early years hub conveniently located next to Newport Gardens Primary School. We deliver high quality and inclusive kindergarten and childcare. At Newport Gardens our teams feel their individual qualities and knowledge is recognised, valued and appreciated.

We are a large family friendly team whom are flexible and value childrens voices. We have a beautiful environment, amazing outdoors including a bush garden. We have efficient planning time, training opportunities including an annual conference and not to mention a fabulous coffee shop across the road.

This is a full time position working 38 hours a week between Monday to Friday with a monthly RDO!

What will you do?

• Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
• Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
• Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
• Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
• Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

More about you

• A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
• Current Working with Children's Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
