Business Analyst – Salesforce Health Cloud

• 6m Contract, based in Sydney
• Up to $900 / day + GST (negotiable for the right candidate)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst (BA) with to work on our clients Salesforce Health Cloud product.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, designing scalable CRM solutions, and bridging the gap between clinical/business stakeholders and technical teams. Your expertise in Healthcare will be critical in enhancing patient engagement, streamlining workflows, and supporting care coordination initiatives as well as understanding new legislation within the government and ensuring the product complies with the latest government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for Salesforce Health Cloud and integrated systems.
• Drive workshops and discovery sessions focused on healthcare workflows and CRM optimization.
• Analyse and improve patient engagement, care coordination, and provider referral processes using Health Cloud capabilities.
• Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and architects to design and implement Health Cloud features (Care Plans, Patient Timelines, etc.).
• Assist in system configuration, UAT, and validation of new features and enhancements.
• Support data migration and integration initiatives between Health Cloud and EMRs, billing systems, or other third-party applications.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations throughout solution design and implementation.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a solid background in Healthcare / HealthTech or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of healthcare e.g. workflows, including patient journeys, care management, and case handling etc high desirable.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Flows, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in creating BRDs, user stories, process maps, and test cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks.
