We are partnering with a global leader to find a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources & Payroll Officer for a permanent opportunity. This dynamic role combines HR administration with payroll expertise, offering an excellent chance to support employees and contribute to key business operations.
About the Role:
As the HR & Payroll Officer, you will oversee HR processes and payroll administration for the Australian team. Working closely with the Senior HR Manager, you’ll manage key HR initiatives, ensure accurate payroll processing, and support local and global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR administrative support, including maintaining employee records and assisting with policy updates.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including onboarding, to deliver a seamless experience for new hires.
- Process payroll accurately for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles.
- Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, leave, and benefits.
- Assist in performance reviews, remuneration reviews, and employee recognition programs.
- Collaborate on HR strategies, diversity initiatives, and learning and development programs.
- Maintain compliance with HR policies, workplace legislation, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Prepare end-of-month and end-of-financial-year payroll reports, including superannuation and PAYG submissions.
About You:
- Qualification in Human Resources
- Previous experience as a HR Coordinator/Officer
- Previous experience with end to end recruitment processes highly desirable
- Previous experience with payroll processes desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- A proactive mindset and a high level of attention to detail.
