Human Resources Officer – Tompsett Asphalt

Tompsett Asphalt is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team. We are a well-established company in the civil construction industry, known for our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.

About the Role:

In this role, you will support the day-to-day HR operations, contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and drive initiatives to enhance staff engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes

Maintain accurate employee records and assist with onboarding/offboarding

Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures

Assist with performance management and staff development initiatives

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards

Provide general HR support to management and employees

To Be Considered:

🔹 Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role is essential
🔹 Strong understanding of HR processes and Australian employment legislation
🔹 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
🔹 High level of accuracy and attention to detail
🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
