About the role

Leeton Dental Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Leeton, NSW. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your needs. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and preparing materials

Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments

Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient appointments

Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing exceptional customer service

Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

What we're looking for

Previous experience is not required, but will be well regarded

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

Familiarity with dental equipment and procedures, and a willingness to learn new techniques

A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience
