About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm and Stable Hand to join our team at International Racehorse Transport in Bolinda, Victoria. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our premier racehorse breeding and training facility.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the care and management of our racehorses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising the animals

Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the stables, paddocks, and other farm facilities

Operating farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, to support various agricultural tasks

Monitoring the health and well-being of the animals and reporting any concerns to the veterinary team

Collaborating with the wider farm team to ensure the smooth running of the operation

What we're looking for

Previous experience working on a farm or in an animal care environment, preferably with horses

Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

Excellent observational skills and the ability to identify and address any health or welfare issues

A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest standards of care

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required

A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
