About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Farm Hand to join our team at Simfresh SA in Renmark West, SA. This is a casual position, and as a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operations of our Citrus farm.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with a variety of farming tasks, including planting, weeding, harvesting, and general farm maintenance

Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery in a safe and responsible manner - including spray tractors, weedacide units, and other equipment

Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the farm, including sheds, and blocks

Identifying and reporting any issues or concerns to the farm management team

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar farm or agricultural role, preferably in the fruit industry

A strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of safe handling and operation of farm equipment and machinery

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
