We have two exciting full-time positions on our family-owned farm. Dakota Pastoral is 20 minutes from Kerang in northern Victoria. We milk up to 1000 cows, have 200 beef cattle and 2500 sheep. We offer shared accommodation, above award wages, and our roster is 5 days on, 2 days off. Both positions include working in a team environment and working independently. We offer a super friendly team environment to support team members to develop to their personal best.

Position description for Dairy Farm Hand, your tasks would include:

• Milking
• Feeding calves
• Droving stock
• Cleaning up after animals
• Feeding sheep
• Sheep work
• Fencing
• Feeding cattle
• Helping other team members bring cows and their calves up to the milking shed.
• other animal husbandry duties and farm duties.

The first shift starts at 3am and finishes around 11am. The second shift starts at 10am and finishes around 6pm. Team members work one shift per day. Training provided to successful applicant as needed. Experience, driver's license and own car an advantage. Minimum stay commitment for these positions is 6 months. Long term permanent commitments preferred.
