EHBrett is a family manufacturing business. We design, fabricate & install a range of items from industrial textiles – from custom covers to tents, shade sails, blinds & awnings – all the way through to enormous helibanners flown around the world.

This full-time role suits an experienced/qualified accountant.

Leading and managing financial reporting in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting.

Delivering highly accurate and detailed management accounts and financial reports.

Leading complex financial analysis and risk assessment, monitoring weekly cash trends and providing long-term financial forecasting with strategic insights to support key business decisions.

Costing products, materials, components, and manufacturing of the whole range of product from shade solutions, tarp hire & repair, custom covers, promotional, defence and transport.

Identifying financial savings, including evaluation of supplier business proposals for cost-saving opportunities.

Managing all tax-related duties, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations, and ensuring adherence to Australian Taxation Office (ATO) – BAS, income tax returns and IAS and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) rules and legal obligations.

Managing the full accounts payable and accounts receivable process.

Leading the complete payroll process, including wages, tax, and superannuation. Ensuring compliance with all payroll-related legal requirements.

Aligning financial strategies with marketing objectives to drive growth. Oversee planning and budgeting for marketing initiatives.

Managing financial operations. Planning, and budgeting for freight costs. Monitoring freight expenditures and identify saving opportunities.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

Possessing a Bachelor's degree or higher in a pertinent field in accounting or relevant business discipline such as economics and management, with equivalent practical experience.

Proven accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment, ideally textiles.

Strong skills in accounting software, ideally using Xero or MYOB.

Experience using MYOB would be highly advantageous.

Demonstrating past-experience in finance, budgeting and management is a plus.

Holding previous work experience in the similar industry would be highly advantageous. Relevant experience in sectors like finance, budgeting and management holds merit.
