POWER STATION OPERATOR

We provide power to various minesites throughout Western Australia and is seeking an experienced Power Station Operator to join our team.

Immediate Start

FIFO Roster (14 days on, 14 days off with some flexibility required)

Position Summary:

Your primary job will be to maintain the day-to-day operations of our remote site with duties that will include:

Power station operations (Cummins gas and diesel generators)

Routine and breakdown maintenance of power generation and auxiliary equipment

Servicing the generators

Provide detailed reports during routine maintenance tasks and unplanned maintenance events

Managing and adhering to OHSE policies and procedures and maintaining the site to ensure it is clean and tidy

After hour call outs to attend the power station for faults / breakdowns

Maintain accurate running hour reports, energy readings as required.

About You

Relevant Trade Qualifications (or higher) - Australian recognised

WA electrical licence

Track record in operating and/or repairing power stations.

Preferably have previous working experience as an operator

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Intermediate computer skills (Office 365) are required

Current First Aid / CPR certificate

Current WA Drivers Licence

Current Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue date) or be able to obtain one.

Be able to pass a full comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug test.
