Key Responsibilities:

Supporting strategic business direction through deployment of key tactical projects and improvements

Scheduling and planning all activity required to fulfil customer requirements across Fabrication and Fit Out areas.

Leadership, mentoring and management of the team in support of delivery schedule compliance.

Leading and managing production activity alongside the Workshop Manager

Collaborating with our knowledgeable Parts Interpreters to maintain exceptional service standards while actively identifying opportunities to grow our parts sales through customer engagement, efficient processes, and targeted sales initiatives.

Ensuring the correct team and resources are in place and working effectively and efficiently to ensure all schedules and orders are achieved in full in accordance with KPIs.

Working with all external suppliers to optimise delivery schedules, quality and costs

Monitoring performance of external suppliers to ensure conformance to Welding Solutions requirements and working with suppliers on improvement opportunities

Leading and managing any customer warranty issues and associated corrective actions ensuring all customer expectations are achieved or surpassed.

Driving continuous improvement activity across all areas of responsibility

Defining and managing budgets for key areas of responsibility across the business

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within the manufacturing, mining or civil industries.

Strong business development acumen with a track record of securing new clients and expanding business opportunities.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve business objectives.

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both with clients and team members.
