Machine Operator

Spectra Recruitment Pty Ltd is currently seeking Production Operators to join one of our fast-paced manufacturing clients located in Stapylton. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery including cutters, benders, grinders, and assisting with raw materials processing.
These positions are available on a temp-to-perm basis, offering a great opportunity to secure long-term employment with a growing company in the manufacturing sector.

With two large production facilities equipped with modern machinery, they ensure the highest quality standards while delivering at scale.

Your New Role:
Reporting to the Production Team Leaders, you will be responsible for:

• Processing raw materials (steel and metal).
• Operating machinery to prepare components for assembly.
• Cutting, bending, and grinding steel and metal materials.
• Using power tools such as bandsaws, drop saws, drill presses, bench grinders, linishers, and presses.
• Assisting with general production duties as required.

Who Are You?
You are someone who is:

• Hardworking and not afraid to get stuck in.
• A team player who can take direction well.
• Mechanically minded, with experience in manufacturing.
• Experienced with power tools and raw materials (steel and metal).

Available Shifts & Rates:
We are currently seeking superstars for the following shifts:

• $33.78 per hour plus penalties
• 1.5x overtime: $50.67 per hour
• 2.0x overtime: $67.56 per hour

• $40.53 per hour plus penalties
• 1.5x overtime: $60.79 per hour
• 2.0x overtime: $81.06.56 per hour

• AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
• PM Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Monday – Friday)

Important: To be successful, you must have full working rights in Australia.
