About the role

As a Machine Operator at Century Yuasa, you will play a crucial role in the efficient manufacturing and production processes within our Carole Park, Queensland facility. Primary positions with the role will start on a base rate of $30 per hour (plus shift loading if applicable) for a full time position, this will increase as you gain skills and experience within the role.

What you'll be doing

Safely and accurately operate a variety of machines, tools and equipment to manufacture and assemble products to the required specifications and standards

Monitor machine performance and take appropriate actions to ensure optimal output and product quality

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to maintain optimal operating conditions

Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures to ensure a safe workplace

Maintain detailed production records and reports as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role

Good mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
