Come and join us in our joint replacement surgical practice currently in The Friendly Society Private Hospital Medical Suites, opposite the Private Hospital. We have plenty of parking for patients and staff, and easy access to everyone's favourite coffee shop - The Atrium.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our experienced team.

Some experience in the medical field is preferred but not absolutely essential. This position would suit someone who in life is well organised, a good listener, a team player and able to work independently when required.

Our patients are greeted by our receptionists when they first enter our practice or phone with an enquiry - first impressions do count!

With the support of our amazing admin team we will give you the opportunity to learn and be part of our successful team with future opportunities to grow within the practice.

In this role, the key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Answering phones and emails

Booking referrals

Assisting all patients on arrival with a kind friendly manner

Assisting in daily office tasks

Liaising with Secretaries and Surgeon

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following attributes:

Have excellent/courteous telephone manner & customer service skills

Excellent computer skills – we use Xestro practice software - easy to learn and great to master!

Make appointment bookings

Liaise with other staff members efficiently

Complete office tasks in a timely manner

Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task

Good listening and communication skills

Ability to work to deadlines and independently

The desire to rise to challenges

Offering an immediate start, the position will have you working part time approximately 25hrs a week. Some weeks may require more than this and can be discussed further to the appropriate candidate.
