Job Description

Reporting directly to the Conference & Events Manager, your strong administration skills and precise eye to detail will ensure the smooth running of our Conference and Events department.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist in the preparation and follow up of conference proposals
  • Actively listen to clients and understand their needs
  • Assist with the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs
  • Coordination and production of conference collateral material
  • Collaborate with multiple hotel departments for each events’ success
  • Type correspondence, memos, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s), Daily Event Sheet, Forecast and reports as assigned and distribute according to Hotel standards.
Qualifications
  • Superior time management and organisational skills, including ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
  • Initiative to seek solutions strategically where problems exist
  • Service driven
  • A creative flair to assist with design of conference collateral
  • Working knowledge of Opera Cloud (desirable)
