About the role

We're seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at THE OTHER BROTHER in the Docklands, Melbourne. As a full-time Chef, you will be an integral part of our dynamic kitchen, helping to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items
• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant food safety and hygiene qualifications
