About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Engineering Procurement Specialist to join our team in the commercial oven manufacturing sector. This key role involves sourcing and procuring engineering components, coordinating freight logistics, and managing inventory levels for both local and international suppliers. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure parts meet technical specifications and help maintain smooth operations across procurement and supply chain functions.
Your responsibilities will include managing the procurement of mechanical and electrical parts, reviewing supplier quotes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and handling logistics for timely deliveries. In addition, you will utilize AroFlo ERP software to track and manage orders and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure mechanical and electrical components, including valves, solenoids, actuators, motors, fasteners, contactors, circuit breakers, and electrical sensors.

Liaise with local and international suppliers to evaluate quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure the timely delivery of parts.

Manage procurement documentation and issue purchase orders using AroFlo ERP software.
Coordinate the logistics of local and international freight, including LCL shipments, customs clearance, and bulk exports.

Work with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings, ensure proper fitment, and verify part specifications.

Ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained by collaborating with warehouse and store teams.
Draft and review technical documentation, including engineering changes and non-conformance reports.

Vet suppliers based on their QA standards, production capabilities, and reliability to maintain the highest quality of parts and components.

Perform cost analysis and manage quotations to ensure procurement decisions are cost-effective.

Track inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to monitor and replenish critical stock levels in a timely manner.

Required Skills
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Skilled in quoting, cost analysis, and issuing purchase orders with attention to lead times and specifications

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts such as valves, actuators, solenoids, motors, fasteners, contactors, circuit breakers, and sensors required

Ability to vet suppliers based on QA standards, reliability, and production capability

Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, machined components, and assembly practices highly preferred

Ability to read technical drawings, understand fits and tolerances, and ensure correct part selection

Coordination of local and international logistics, including LCL shipments, customs clearance, and bulk exports

Experience using ERP software for procurement, inventory tracking, and supplier management

Drafting and reviewing technical documentation, including engineering changes and non-conformance reports
