With decades of industry expertise and an extensive portfolio of national and imported brands, we are the trusted partner for cafés, restaurants, hotels, and food retailers across Australia.

The Opportunity

As part of our global expansion, we are seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to strengthen our supply chain and source high-quality products from international markets, particularly China and Southeast Asia. This role is pivotal in ensuring cost efficiency, product quality, and supplier reliability to support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in target markets (China/Southeast Asia), negotiating contracts to secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality standards.

Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks.

Market Research: Analyze trends, pricing, and regulations in international food markets to inform sourcing strategies.

Quality Assurance: Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with Australian food safety and import regulations.

Cost Management: Monitor market fluctuations and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (sales, inventory, finance) to align procurement with business needs.

Reporting: Track KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance) and present insights to senior management.

Ideal Candidate

Experience: 2+ years in procurement, preferably with a focus on China/Southeast Asia markets.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management.

Analytical mindset (Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software).

Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.

Attributes: Proactive, culturally aware, and adept at working in a fast-paced environment.

Language: Proficiency in Mandarin or Southeast Asian languages is a strong plus.

Why Join Us?

Play a key role in shaping our global supply chain strategy.

Work with a passionate team in a stable, growing Australian business.

Competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.

How to Apply

Submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your China/Southeast Asia procurement experience to [email protected] by 26/05/2025. Include examples of successful supplier partnerships or cost-saving initiatives.
