The Principal Business Analyst supports the delivery of the Lean Service Procurement (LSP) stream of the Digital Capability Project (DCP) by contributing to stream-related analysis and planning, including identifying and defining business requirements, and supporting the creation of work packages. You will work closely with the LSP team, DCP team and dedicated Corporate Enterprise Solutions technical resources to ensure SAP S4/HANA is fit-for-purpose and successfully implemented, thereby improving the procurement of services across all Hospital and Health Services.
What you'll do
- Analyse business requirements through a whole of health system lens and assess the needs within stakeholder groups so that efficiencies may be realised using improved system usage.
- Contribute to uplifting business analysis capabilities and processes to support an insights-driven culture.
- Lead S/4HANA related business process, requirements, and information analysis documentation sessions with stakeholders to elicit current and future state business, solution (functional and non-functional) and data requirements.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Excellent understanding of SAP S/4HANA procurement processes, functions, standards, tables and data; or, an excellent understanding of procurement, and mechanisms associated with data management and control, and knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective use of analysis tools and in using data to support business decisions, including demonstrated experience in Microsoft applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) and the ability to create text templates, charts, pivot tables and presentations.
- Demonstrated experience leading business process modelling activities for large scale complex organisations and the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations on the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools.
- High level facilitation and engagement skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution
