About the role

WorkPac are currently seeking highly experienced Trade Assistants to be a part of our clients dynamic and growing team in the heart of Bassendean, Perth!

With a chance at ongoing work you will be working Monday - Thursday, 6am - 2pm then Friday early finishes working 6am - 12pm

In this role, you will:

Movement of products, materials, or equipment by manual or mechanical means.

Movement of products or equipment by hand or by mechanical means.

Operate machinery such as grinders, fettlers, saw, drills ect.

Training will be provided for all other departments across Bassendean site, and you will be required to fulfil duties in these areas from time to time as well as other tasks associated with the safe and efficient operations of the Manufacture Operations Department.

You will be required to be actively involved in the orientation of new employees to the department.

You will be required to train new trade assistants as you are upskilled to fulfil your duties.

All other duties as reasonably directed by your Leading Hands, Supervisors and Managers.

What you will need:

Similar experience in the same type of field.

High risk forklift license

WA driver's License

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
