Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Electrical Trades Assistants for immeidate starts on a project located in Barangaroo next to Sydney CBD. Day shift, Monday to Friday paying $38 p/hr.
These roles will initially be for 3 weeks with the possibility of extension and temp to perm after 3 months for proven performers.

A National brand specialising in the Audio Visual industry, located in Greenacre

The Role: Trades Assistant

This role is construction site based.

This role will see you completing Trades Assistant based work assisting trades people and builders in installing Audio Visual equipment such as brackets and speakers, cabling systems and electrical components.

Your main duties will involve:

• Assisting trades people onsite
• Installing equipment
• Operating EWP and Boom lifts
• Assisting the installation team in installing theatre staging and equipment such as speaker brackets and hoists
• Assisting cabling and wiring for hoists and equipment
• Use of both hand and power tools
• Following and reading plans
• Spotting of EWP trades people
• General TA duties
• General daily site clean up

Shift Available:
Day:

• 7am starts
• 3pm finishes
• Monday to Friday
• $38 p/hr + Super

The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

• Site based Trades Assistant experience is a must
• Must have a construction white card
• EWP ticket 11m+
• Hand and power tool experience is a must
• Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
• Must be able to commit to these roles for the duration of the project
