We are looking for a carpenter who is passionate about carpentry and keen to join us for the long term. Ideally, we would like to offer an ambitious carpenter the opportunity to grow with our company, advance his skill set and ultimately upskill into more of a leading hand/foreman role.

About the role

You will have the opportunity to work on major renovation projects throughout inner city Brisbane. You will work closely with the builder/managing director to ensure projects are carried out in accordance with our high standards in quality and safety. Ideally, you will have the following qualifications and personal attributes:

Experience with residential renovations

QBCC carpentry licence, ABN, white card & public liability insurance

Own vehicle & tools

Strong work ethic

Good team player

Strong communication and leadership skills

Positive and enthusiastic attitude

Skilled in site set out

Strong attention to detail

Ability to teach the younger apprentices and carpenters

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Solution focused and ability to plan ahead

$45 - $50 per hour + GST + Super, however happy to negotiate based on experience. Willing to discuss full time employment or sub contractor rates. Available for immediate start or within the next few weeks.
