Carpenter (Licenced) (Male or Female)

DLR Building Services is based in the Nepean area. A local business that is growing to fill the high demand for building repairs and maintenance for homeowners, strata companies and large corporations. We also have extensive experience in complex building renovations, alterations, building remediation work as well as bathroom re-modelling.

We are a local family-owned business, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to the local community, providing a quality service with over 40 years of experience.

We are currently looking for an experienced Licenced Carpenter

The Role:

Work predominantly in Nepean and Blue Mountains areas, with travel to other areas at times

Full time, ongoing employment

40 hours per week- with some overtime work available

A wide range of tasks that include carpentry, plastering, painting, doors, joinery, roofing and many other tasks – no two days will be the same

What you will need to bring:

Carpentry Qualification (Cert III Carpentry or similar)

Current driver’s licence

Valid White Card

Own vehicle preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the building industry

Strong communication skills

Own basic hand and power tools. We will provide additional tools and equipment as required.

Multi skilled – Carpentry qualifications and experience, as well as experience in plastering, painting and other general building tasks

Experience working in the strata/rental sector would be favourable, but not compulsory

And an ability to:

Complete all work to a high level of workmanship

Be a self-starter that can work alone, but be able to work cooperatively in a team

Maintain all required administrative duties

Represent the company with a business-like presentation and attitude
