Position Objective

This role is critical to creating a high-performance culture where people go above and beyond to deliver client outcomes and strategic objectives. This position will provide leadership, coaching and direction and alignment with strategies in particularly:

• input into the strategic intent of the organisation

• manage the business planning function for the organisation

• stakeholder engagement and management

• business promotion and development

• ensure effective and efficient functioning of the organisation and its internal operations driving efficiencies

• identify and seize opportunities aligned to Senami strategic objectives

• overseeing project management

• Safeguarding, Quality and continuous improvement initiatives

• drive the culture, organisational development and human resources strategies for the organisation.

Strategic Leadership

• Provide leadership and direction to the business that aligns to Senami culture and is visionary

• Provide strategic leadership for the continual improvement of operations

• Input into the strategic intent

• Assist the CEO to lead the development of strategic plans for approval consistent with the organisational structure

• Generate opportunities for organisational and brand growth

Strategic Development

• Oversee operational activities, monitor performance to ensure that objectives are met, risk are mitigated and opportunities are crated

Risk Management

• Foster a culture of identifying risks to be mitigated and opportunities to be maximized

• Consistently review business metrics, systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities

• Initiate continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our governance, operational performance and competitiveness

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the implementation and optimisation of digital tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency, including CRM, incident management, and NDIS client management software.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, organisational performance, and service outcomes. Use data analytics to inform decision-making and drive strategy.

• Lead organisation-wide change initiatives, including restructures, process redesign, or service expansion. Manage communication, training, and stakeholder alignment throughout change processes.

• Develop and implement leadership development pathways to support internal career progression and build a robust succession pipeline.

• Oversee systems and processes that ensure a high-quality client experience, including feedback mechanisms, satisfaction surveys, and continuous service co-design with clients and families.

Selection Criteria

Professional Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Must be genuinely interested in providing high quality support and services to people with disabilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Strategic, emotionally intelligent leader recognised for their authentic leadership

• Proven track record of fostering a high-performing and innovative office culture

• Advanced ability to grow an organisation sustainably

• Produce high-quality work in an efficient manner

• Strong understanding and working knowledge of current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

• Advanced administrative skills to ensure correct documentation is supplied to administration in an accurate and timely manner

• Have a strong Customer Service focus

• Solid understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding

• High commitment to WH&S practices and focus on eliminating and minimising hazards and keeping people safe

• Advanced administrative skills with a strong attention to detail and deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to travel to attend seminars and networking events as required by the CEO

• Comfortable to speak on behalf of the company at events where required and be a senior ambassador for the company when required

• Experienced in dispute resolution both internally as well as with external parties being vendors, partners and suppliers and comfortable with interfacing with the company’s legal representation on all matters

• Ability to perform under time pressure whilst providing high quality outcomes in every aspect of work

• Understanding of the principles of the Equal Opportunity Act and Disability Discrimination Act

• Understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate level qualification in Business or Similar

• Current NDIS worker screening clearance

• Satisfies all visa requirements for working in Australia
