Our client is a global financial services organisation with offices worldwide. This loyalty stems from a strong, positive culture and the guidance of a supportive and experienced Finance Manager.

This role offers excellent flexibility, with 2 set days in the office and 3 days working from home. It’s the perfect step-up for an Assistant Accountant looking to broaden their exposure in financial reporting and accounting, while learning directly from a well-tenured team.

The Role

As part of a team of experienced financial accountants, reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties will include, but not be limited to:

Preparing and posting journals to the general ledger

Reconciling general ledger and sub-ledger accounts

Processing intercompany recharges and reconciliations

Assisting with local tax reporting (GST, stamp duty, payroll tax)

Back-up support for Accounts Payable and Receivable (AU & NZ), including staff expenses

Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as needed

Your Background

This Financial Accountant role requires the following attributes:

CPA /CA Qualification (or equivalent) or working towards (part-qualified)

Experience as an Assistant Accountant, AP/AR or similar and ready to take a step up into financial accounting

An excellent attitude and attention to detail
