Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Waste Services Manager to lead the delivery of pest, waste, and hygiene services across a high-volume national portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Mulgrave with flexible start and finish times between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
As the Waste Services Manager, your primary focus will be managing vendor performance, service scope, and compliance across pest, waste, and hygiene services. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with pest, waste & hygiene vendors to ensure service excellence
- Collaborating with commercial teams to enhance contract frameworks and financial performance
- Reviewing and approving purchase orders and invoices in line with contracted scopes
- Monitoring compliance and delivery across all national sites
- Leading quarterly vendor governance meetings
- Identifying continual improvement and cost-optimisation opportunities
- Developing SLAs and KPIs that reflect operational and regulatory expectations
- Establishing standardised performance reporting across service categories
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong background in facilities or service management, ideally within high-volume, multi-site environments. Key requirements include:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing pest, waste & hygiene service contracts
- Demonstrated ability to optimise service scope and reduce unnecessary expenditure
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and vendor performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven commitment to safety, compliance, and quality service delivery
