About the role

The Hotel Manager - Marsden Tavern role is a full-time position at the McGuire Hotels' property located in Marsden QLD 4132. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of the Marsden Tavern, a key hospitality asset within the McGuire Hotels group. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring a consistently high level of customer service and driving the financial performance of the business.

What you'll be doing

Managing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance

Ensuring exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction

Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and performance management

Managing the hotel's financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Implementing marketing and promotion strategies to drive occupancy and revenue

Liaising with senior management and corporate teams to align the hotel's performance with the broader group's objectives

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a hotel management role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a high-quality guest experience

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyse data, and drive profitability

Proven track record in implementing successful marketing and promotional strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, including relevant legislation and regulations
