My client is a large Federal Government Agency and has a requirement for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong blend of functional and technical skills to join a digital program of work they are undertaking.

You will be an enthusiastic self starter with excellent communication and time management skills:

Role accountabilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document current state business processes using BPMN.
• Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and optimization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Translate optimized business processes into clear technical requirements and user stories.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and user expectations.
• Analyse UAT feedback, document defects, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive process improvements.

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on process improvement.
• Deep understanding and practical application of BPMN for process modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory

Highly regarded skills:

• Formal training or certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience with process mining tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with e-forms is highly regarded.
