Harvey’s Towing Service have provided specialised services since 1977 in the towing and transportation of all types of vehicles, plant and equipment. In 2014 Harvey’s was taken over By Joe and family to then grow and continue providing outstanding services to Brisbane, Gold Coast and the surrounding areas.

Holding Yard Coordinator Position

We are seeking a Holding Yard Coordinator utilising a forklift to manage and oversee the operations of our holding yard, ensuring efficiency, organisation, and compliance with all regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Organise the holding yard by means of physical/manual labour and utilising a forklift

Provide the highest level of phone etiquette by answering customer calls and service queries

Accurate data entry and booking entries

Coordinate the timely flow of information to and from our customers and other related departments

Use initiative to find customer focused solutions

Develop relationships with our drivers and key customers

Monitor and maintain yard cleanliness and organisation.

Conduct routine yard inspections to ensure safety and security measures are upheld.

Work collaboratively with law enforcement, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders when required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role (towing, automotive, logistics, or yard management preferred).

Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously.

Knowledge of vehicle storage regulations and industry best practices.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Valid driver’s license and must have Forklift License.

This role requires you to work under pressure, meet deadlines whilst having effective communication.
