ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Truck Driver & Yard Maintenance (Driver Development), you will perform general yard maintenance and cleanliness and carry out non-technical maintenance, including operation of machinery to sort mini-skip bins.

You will also provide coverage / relief to our drivers and operate a waste collection vehicle from our Horsham depot when required. This can require you to service multiple customer sites.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to be responsible for a variety of depot tasks including: cardboard bailing, complete bin repairs and maintenance including washing/cleaning, bin preparation, vehicle washing and detailing, general labouring duties and sorting skip bin waste using excavators and telehandlers.

You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops. We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours; as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends!
