Harvey's Towing is a fast-growing and industry-respected transport / towing company known for our commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a proactive and reliable Yard and Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As the Yard and Logistics Coordinator, you are to take charge of our holding yard operations. This hands-on role is crucial in maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient yard while ensuring top-tier service to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee yard organisation through both manual labour and forklift operation

Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries

Perform accurate data entry and booking processes

Ensure smooth communication flow between customers and internal departments

Proactively solve problems with a customer-focused mindset

Build strong relationships with drivers, customers, and law enforcement

Keep the yard clean, orderly, and secure through routine inspections

Work with stakeholders such as insurers, police, and clients as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in towing, automotive, logistics, or yard management (preferred)

Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Understanding of vehicle storage regulations and industry practices

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Proficient in basic computer and data entry tasks

Valid driver’s license and forklift licence – essential

Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines with effective communication
