Join the team at Blue Mountains Pipe and Civil as a full-time Formwork Carpenter, Concreter or Steel fixer. Based in Greater Sydney and South Coast Region, you will play a key role in the construction and civil works projects undertaken by our growing company. As an experienced Formwork Carpenter, Concreter or Steel fixer, you will use your skills and expertise to safely and efficiently construct asset chambers, building slabs, retaining walls, road and pedestrian pavements.

What you'll be doing

Construction of water holding structures

Preparing, setting up, and maintaining the forms for concrete structures and pavements

Cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement bars

Completing the concrete pour efficiently and accurately

Ensure the quality of work meets required standards

Follow safety protocols and guidelines throughout the process

Read and interpret plans, drawings and temporary works designs

Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and specifications

What we're looking for

Previous experience in formwork/steel fixing concrete pouring and finishing

Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in construction.

Trade certificate in carpentry

Confined space and working at heights certification preferable

Sydney water experience preferable

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions.
