About the role

As a Steel Fixer at Global Form Group Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the construction of high-quality buildings and infrastructure projects. This full-time position is based in Brisbane, QLD 4000, and will see you working as part of a skilled team to ensure the successful delivery of complex construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Cutting, bending, and assembling steel reinforcement materials according to specifications

Positioning and securing steel reinforcement in formwork or on-site, ensuring compliance with structural and safety requirements

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols

Providing support and guidance to less experienced team members as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, with a strong understanding of construction methods and standards

Proficient in the use of steel fixing tools and equipment, including benders, cutters, and tying tools

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

Current construction industry certifications and licences (desirable)
