About the Role

As a Senior Remedial Engineer, you will diagnose structural and facade issues, develop tailored remediation strategies, and oversee projects from planning to execution. You will collaborate closely with design and construction teams, ensuring that solutions are technically sound, compliant, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed site investigations to assess building defects and structural issues.

- Prepare comprehensive remediation plans and provide expert repair recommendations.

- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.

- Produce detailed technical reports and documentation for clients.

- Manage project time-lines and budgets and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technologies.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-driven culture.

Skills & Experience

- 7+ years in residential/commercial remedial construction.

- Skilled in on-site assessments and producing:

- Building and Site Inspection Reports

- Rectification Methodologies

- Remedial Specifications

- Experienced in construction contract administration and Project Management.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Knowledgeable in construction details, Australian Standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC).

- Familiar with current construction trends and environmental demands.

- Experience in the strata industry is a plus.

- Proven ability to build effective client and colleague relationships.

- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and clarity in communication.

- Strong time management and proactive problem-solving skills.
