ZCG Scalar® are a proud East Gippsland Manufacturer of Radio Frequency solutions including Antennas, coaxial cable assemblies, filters, masts and RF accessories to supply into the consumer, commercial, emergency services and Defence sectors for domestic and international clientele. As an established Radio frequency solutions manufacturer and supplier since 1970, ZCG Scalar has a renowned name in the RF Industry for high quality, robust and industry leading solutions, including custom one-off solutions.
Opportunity Overview:
As our industry position expands into new sectors, and as only one of only a handful of remaining RF solution providers/manufacturers within Australia, our team needs to expand. We are in search of a Sales Consultant to complement our already formidable team to better assist our wide array of clientele. If you excel in a technically-driven environment (don't need RF background, but a basic understanding would be beneficial) and are passionate about forging strong client relationships while driving business expansion, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage, cultivate and nurture robust relationships with key clients ranging from Retail shops (4WD/Marine stores), FM Radio/DAB/TV Broadcasters, emergency services installers/integrators (police/fire/ambulance/SES) through to Defence companies and Government departments, adeptly understanding their individual project needs and delivering tailored product solutions that exceed expectations.
Produce Sales Quote/Orders and system designs (working with Technical team) for clients on time timeframes or within critical projects.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the diverse markets that ZCG Scalar are positioned within, driving growth and market penetration.
Collaborate seamlessly with our manufacturing, technical services and dispatch departments (all within Lindenow facility) to ensure a cohesive and exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
Act as the point-of-contact through video calls, emails, phone calls, client visits to nurture strong client relationships.
Representative of the company at industry exhibitions/networking events engaging with sectors including: Emergency Services, Broadcast & Telecommunications integrators and/or Defence industries/Government departments - such as Land Forces/Avalon Airshow/Indo-Pac/ Comms Connect. Please note: The government expo's/tradeshows may be in partnership with state or federal government departments
Skills & Experience:
While previous sales experience in B2B (Business-to-business) or B2G (Government/Defence) sectors is required; a proven track record of exceptional customer service within the sales field and technical understanding of a wide array of products is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on new business prospects, coupled with a proactive and outgoing personality.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and digital, enabling effective collaboration within a team environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, coupled with proficiency in using MS Office and CRM platforms.
A history of understanding and surpassing sales targets, showcasing your ability to deliver results in a technical and competitive market.
A basic understand of Radio Frequency (Antenna types, Frequency, Gain) would be preferred, however on-site training and departmental resources available to assist with learning/guidance.
Working in a office environment utilising digital based contact with clientele (primary), with opportunities for face-to-face engagement at Expo's/Trade Shows/Site Visits where possible (secondary).
