About the role:
Support workers required to support our participants with disabilities in their day to day life, whether it be community access, personal care, or even just assisting them at home with everyday household chores. Support worker with their Cert IV in Mental Health are preferred and experience working with participants with complex needs is essential.

Attributes:

Previous experience with mental health and behavioral management (essential)

The demonstration of experience and willingness to work with people who have complex support needs.

A team player who is motivated and passionate, with the ability to be flexible and reliable

Someone who can assist in providing choice and control to all participants.

Essential Requirements:

Certificate IV in Mental Health (Preferred)

NDIS Orientation Modules

Current Driver’s License

Reliable Vehicle

Comprehensive Car Insurance

National Police Check (within 2 years)

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid and CPR

Manual Handling Certificate

Hand Hygiene Certificate

Medication Administration Certificate

Infection Control Certificate

Previous experience with mental health and behavior management

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Part-Time (Guaranteed 4 hours a week, more hours available if you are the right fit)

Job Location: Support worker needs to be able to support participants in their homes in the following areas (Western Melbourne Suburbs - Werribee and surrounds, Melton and surrounds and Geelong and Surrounds)

Base Rate: $30.44
Saturday: $45.66
Sunday: $60.88
Public Holiday: $76.10
Overnight: $100
