Essential Catering & Events is currently recruiting for Building Supervisors to join our team. The position will be based in Boroondara Council's Hawthorn Arts Centre. This is a Casual role for an individual who is prepared to work a variety of hours on different days of the week that require building supervision. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys satisfying the needs and desires of individuals attending events at the Hawthorn Arts Centre.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for building safety - including Fire Warden responsibilities and loss prevention.

You will be responsible for assisting clients with their bump-in and bump-out requirements at the venue.

You will assist and coordinate Guest movement throughout the building.

You will ensure the venue is clean and presentable at all times

You will be be responsible for the correct utilisation of the signage in the event spaces.

You will deliver prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers and patrons - responding positively to enquiries and requests.

You will identify and resolve challenges and deal with issues in a calm and professional manner.
