At Diabetes Australia, we’re looking for a Digital Growth and Performance Manager to lead digital growth strategy, optimise paid media, and build a robust performance ecosystem across our websites, campaigns, and engagement platforms.
This is a critical, high-impact role — perfect for someone who combines deep digital performance expertise with a solution-focused mindset and the ability to drive insight-led transformation across an organisation.
About the Role
Lead the setup, optimisation and reporting of digital performance across Diabetes Australia’s websites and marketing programs.
Shape and manage paid media strategy across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn, and eDM platforms, working closely with internal teams and media agencies.
Own and optimise the digital analytics infrastructure, ensuring all platforms are accurately tracked, measured and continuously improved.
Translate data into actionable insights that directly support fundraising, engagement, education and advocacy outcomes.
Champion digital literacy across teams, empowering non-technical stakeholders with accessible insights and tools.
You'll work collaboratively across the business and with external partners to build, track, analyse and scale digital initiatives that drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and optimise the digital analytics ecosystem across ~10 websites and platforms.
Lead platform configuration and performance tracking across Google (GA4, GTM, Ads), Meta Business (Facebook & Instagram), D365, and other tools.
Develop and maintain reporting frameworks (Looker Studio, Power BI) to surface real-time growth insights.
Oversee and optimise paid media activity across Google (GDN, SEM, YouTube, Google Grant), Meta, LinkedIn and eDM.
Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to enhance digital journeys, campaign effectiveness, and performance attribution.
Champion a solutions-driven, data-led culture across Diabetes Australia through stakeholder engagement and training.
Establish governance, documentation and privacy practices to maintain data integrity and compliance.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
A solution-focused digital leader with 5+ years' experience in digital performance, analytics, or digital transformation roles.
Experienced with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and Looker Studio.
Skilled in audience segmentation, campaign tracking, attribution and conversion optimisation.
An excellent communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable juggling competing priorities.
Passionate about using digital innovation to drive health and social impact.
Bonus points if you also bring:
Experience in not-for-profit, health, or government sectors.
Familiarity with digital fundraising or eCommerce analytics.
Understanding of governance, privacy and security practices for digital data environments.
