About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team at the Woodenbong Hotel in Woodenbong, NSW 2476. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of meals from our diverse menu, ensuring consistency and quality

Assist with menu planning and development to introduce new and exciting dishes

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards

Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests

Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to develop their skills

Manage kitchen inventory and ordering to minimise waste

What we're looking for

Cooking qualification or equivalent industry experience

Demonstrated experience as a Chef/Cook in a similar fast-paced hospitality environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities

Passion for creating innovative and delicious menu items

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Current Food Safety Supervisor certification
