About the Position

This is a standout opportunity for a passionate Head Chef who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering quality pub food. You'll come with previous experience building high-performing kitchen teams, shaping the menu, and fostering a positive, respectful culture. With a $100-110K salary (commensurate with experience), this role offers the chance to truly own your kitchen and build something lasting in a supportive and community-minded venue.

Position Description:

Oversee all kitchen operations, including staffing, service, and prep

Lead and train a passionate team of chefs and kitchen hands

Manage food costs, stock ordering, wastage, and work to set budgets

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WH&S standards

Work closely with management and staff to maintain a great, family-focused culture

Position Requirements:

Proven Head Chef experience in high-volume venues

Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience managing kitchen budgets, rosters, and inventory

Passion for the industry and a strong desire to develop teams

Sound understanding of kitchen safety and compliance

Calm, organised, and hands-on approach
