About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to plan and coordinate effective and efficient rostering of Medical Registrars and Resident Medical Officers for Redcliffe Hospital Medicine Service Line. To ensure the professional needs of medical staff are met while maintaining the service needs of Redcliffe Hospital and Metro North Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Effectively use communication skills and tools to maintain a motivated and effective team, while providing ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Apply high administrative skill and expertise, discretion, problem-solving and judgement to work with a high degree of autonomy and consistently meet deadlines.
- Effectively and efficiently coordinate medical leave request in consultation with Medical Director of Medicine Service Line via myHR whilst maintaining safe and adequate staffing levels in conjunction with the Business Practice Framework.
- Maintain daily sick leave and advise Medical Work force and Medical Director of Medicine Service Line.
