About the role
The Intake Administration Officer will be a valued member of the Support Services Administration Team. The Intake Administration Officer's primary function is to provide telephone intake and screening for newly referred clients accessing allied health and community services. The Intake Administration Officer works closely with clinical staff and the Intake and Single Point of Entry Team Leader to effectively engage, screen, determine the referral priority and provide timely client access the appropriate services. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
- Demonstrated and maintained highly developed keyboard and computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and experience using patient administration systems.
- Ability to provide a positive, empathetic and professional attitude in processing referrals while managing client expectations in responding to the client's immediate needs.
- Ability to adapt to change and committed to quality improvement, able to explore new ways of working in line with developments in technology, service delivery and funding requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise a busy workload and ensure deadlines are met.
