In conjunction with Monaro Fuel Haulage (Monaro), a related family business, the ECC & Monaro Group provides services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join the team based out our Mackay Depot. As a dynamic, family-run business, we are an industry leader in the AU Logistics Industry with a strong focus on people, safety and forging long term business relationships. As a result, we are experiencing rapid growth within the business and are seeking enthusiastic and qualified workshop technicians to support our continued phase of growth.

Roster

• Monday to Friday
• 6am till 4:30pm
• Participate within on-call roster, every 6 weeks

Skills and Experience

• Trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics (Heavy Road Transport) are essential with demonstrated work experience as a Mechanic or similar
• Knowledge of Kenworth Trucks will be held in high regard
• Experience with the maintenance of fuel trucks and trailers (highly desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised whilst maintaining a safe work area
• Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
• A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to positively interact with customers
