About the role

We are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Accountant to join our well-established tax and accounting firm WILL YAN & PARTNERS' in our Hawthorn East, VIC office. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality taxation and accounting services to our growing client base.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and lodge income tax returns, Business Activity Statements and other tax compliance documents for individuals and small-to-medium businesses

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements.

Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.

Liaise with clients, the Australian Taxation Office and other stakeholders as required

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with tax legislation and accounting standards

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax and accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related field

No experience required for graduated accountant, we will provide comprehensive training and support.

1-2 years' experience in a public practice or corporate accounting role required for intermediate accountant.

Experienced with Accounting software(e.g Xero,Myob)

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to communicate complex financial information to clients in a clear and concise manner

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

Strong time management and prioritisation skills

Fluent in both Mandarin(中文) and English
