About the role

We're seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at 'Your Brain in Mind' in Taringa, Queensland. As a full-time Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing front-of-office operations.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments as well as billing

Handling patient inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in person

Preparing and maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the clinic

Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office software.

A calm and patient demeanour, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and empathy

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
