We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our growing clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, grow, with the potential to train and into a Practice Management role over time.

The Role:

As a Medical Receptionist at Nexus Pain Management, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a high standard of administrative support and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure smooth operations and an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients with a warm, professional, and caring approach.

Manage appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.

Perform general administrative duties such as bookings, billings, managing patient records, facilitating transfer of care.

Process patient billing and insurance claims.

Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate clinical procedures as required.

Maintain a clean and organised reception and waiting area.

Contribute to the overall efficiency of the clinic’s operations.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a medical setting (not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Experience with medical software (Zedmed or similar) is advantageous but not required.

A professional, caring approach to dealing with patients.
