We are looking for staff who believe that they are the motivated, confident, responsible, self-driven, reliable, trustworthy and friendly salesperson we are looking for.

We are offering casual positions for sales representatives to work casually. The positions are for people who can work mostly at our Queen Victoria Market stall, however who can also do the occasional shift at our shop at the South Melbourne Market if required. The candidates for these positions need to be flexible, and be able to start immediately. During the interview process please let us know if you are unable to work at either of these locations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Displaying products (musical instruments, jewellery and baskets)

Running the stall independently

Spending time with customers

Closing sales

Working out change

Keeping organised sales records

Multitasking

You will need:

Fantastic customer service and great communication skills

A confident and relaxed sales approach with an ability to close sales

Organisational skills

Mathematic skills

Ability to be punctual

A positive, enthusiastic and motivated can-do attitude

Experience in the retail industry or willing to learn

Enjoy working independently

Good at multitasking

A friendly, kind and compassionate nature

Flexibility with hours and available on weekends

Independent, fast thinking and problem solving skills

Willing to go the extra mile

Great with people of all ages, gender identifications and nationalities (You must be accepting and non discriminatory)

Pay will be based on age and experience and bonuses are based on performance.

Trading hours are usually:

Tues 9am-3pm

Thu/Fri 9am-4pm

Sat/Sun 9am-4pm

Please note these are the Queen Vic hours as this will be your main location

Please note: We will provide all on-site training for our lucky candidates.
