We are seeking an experienced Farm Hand for an 840 hectare cropping and livestock property in Northern Tasmania.

You will assist with daily cropping operations. Required skills include:

Safe operations of agricultural farm machinery

Spraying and spreading experience

Ground preparation and seeding

Irrigation knowledge

GPS expertise

Tractor mechanical knowledge preferred

General farm maintenance

Knowledge of chemical use and safety (chem cert preferred)

Ability to take direction from owner

Truck license (an advantage)

Positive and can do attitude

Note: some weekend and afterhours work will be required.

Skills and Experience:

This role is hands on and requires initiative and self-motivation.

Previous experience is mandatory.

High level of attention to detail and time management skills.

Current drivers’ licence.

Chem cert preferred

You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency.
